Wesak celebrations will take place on the 18th
of May, starting at 10am.
Sangha Walks: Return to the long road
This year is the 25th anniversary of the walk made by Ajahn Amaro and
Nick Scott from Chithurst (Cittaviveka) to Harnham (Aruna Ratanagiri),
an account of which was published in the book A Long Road North.
Ajahn Amaro and Nick intend to repeat some of the walk this year and
would like to revisit anyone they met on the original walk. They are
also open to invitation from anyone living on the route who would like

Ajahn Brahmavamso in Germany
In October of 2008 Pagoda Phat Hue of Frankfurt, Germany will be
inviting Venerable Ajahn Brahmavamso to give two public Dhamma Talks and
a small retreat. The dates for the Retreat will be:
Friday, October 24th at 10am to Sunday, October 26th at 4pm.

8pm to 10pm, Friday, October 24th "Deeper than Reason, Beyond Beliefs"

Guest House manager needed
At Aruna
Ratanagiri we are looking for a new guest house manager. Applicants
need to be male, fluent in English, comfortably familiar with Theravada
Buddhist monastic practice, and able with general repair work. Also,
they will need to have a clean driver's licence and be able to commit
for at least one year. The caretaker will receive without charge: a
single room, two meals a day, the opportunity to participate in retreats
and the opportunity to participate in daily meditations.
